Testing & Quality Assurance

While we believe Testing & Quality Assurance (QA) is always best performed by a 3rd party team, King Tide has the resources internally to help you test your product during internal testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-launch. We leverage a combination of designers, developers and project managers who each test products on desktop and mobile devices across multiple browsers, and upload their notes into our ticketing system.

   

Internal Review

Once our engineers mark product "Dev Complete", we perform a round of internal review prior to sending the product to your team or to users. During this phase, we catch about 90% of the obvious bugs across different pages and screens. This process usually takes 1-2 weeks.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Once our project management (PM) team has signed off on the internal review tickets, we share the product with beta testers and our client team to perform a round of User Acceptance Testing. During this phase, we have a shared system for users to upload feedback, which gets reviewed by our PM's, consolidated, and input into our system for development.

Post-Launch Support

Perfection is the enemy of progress. We like to get products into the wild as quickly as possible, even if that means launching with a couple bugs. Once the product is live, we'll stay on board for the next few weeks to help ensure all user feedback is implemented properly.

3rd Party Testing

It's hard to see the forest from the trees. We always recommend hiring a 3rd party team to perform testing on robust digital platforms. We have a few companies we can refer, but this allows for someone who specializes in testing other applications to ensure everything is perfected.
